My name is Paige Loud and I'm a social worker running for Congress in Maine's Second District because it's time to elect leaders qualified for a new era of politics.
Nobody Fights Alone.
The strongest candidate to defeat Susan Collins is one who can keep the conversation focused on the future rather than on defending the past. I am a social worker whose career has been dedicated to serving others. My record is one of advocacy, organizing, and public service.
RCV is a great way to give every issue and population a voice in the race, & I am proud to have participated in the process. I have no doubt Matt Dunlap will be a better nominee knowing the full breadth of issues, & I look forward to helping his campaign cross the finish line.
I got to know Matt well & believe he has the most fundamental qualities of Maine’s spirit. Compassion, integrity, understanding, thoughtfulness. I'm confident he'll accept this next challenge with the utmost seriousness & respect for Maine. He never made me feel out of place.
The purpose of a large healthy primary should be having candidates who represent the fullest range of voters possible so all the issues get laid out and inform the nominee to be as representative as possible.
I'm not positive what's next for me. I'm definitely ready to go back to being a social worker for a bit, but my advocacy and activism will still be alive as it was before this campaign.
Thank you.
Thank you Maine for believing in me. Travelling & campaigning for the last 6 months has been maybe the craziest idea I've ever had and boy it's been a wild ride. From Fryeburg to Lubec & Lewiston to Madawaska 6,500+ of you said peace dignity & humanity have a place on the ballot.
This state has given me so much already and I'll be forever grateful. Maine is full of hard working resilient people who are never afraid to stand up for what's right and never give up. I'm incredibly humbled that so many of you believed I represented that spirit.
This campaign has been a grassroots effort since day 1. I'm proud to have been uplifted by all these great organizations who share my vision for the future: a world where power rests in the hands of the poor and working class. We protect us.✊🏼

Happy Election Day to those who live in Maine, Nevada, North Dakota, and South Carolina. I've endorsed the following candidates running in primaries today...all support Uncapping the House:
Paige Loud (Maine's 2nd)
Josh Hebert (Nevada's 2nd)
Max Diaz (South Carolina's 1st)
Mutual aid is everything, and the future of successful campaigning will be investing in the community. Not millions in attack ads, texts or fancy mailers. Read my op ed in the Portland Press Herald online today, and catch it in print on Friday! https://t.co/ICRYYUyQTs
.@JoeBaldacci is a pro-Israel Democrat with a proven record of public service and leadership. He has the experience, profile, and coalition to flip this seat from Red to Blue, and DMFI PAC is proud to support his campaign.
I'm honored to have the endorsement of @futuredemspac, a group dedicated to growing the Democratic Party by supporting first-time candidates and next-generation leaders across the country. When progressives come together, we can change the world. #mepolitics#midterms2026
OUR SUPPORT DOUBLES EACH MONTH!
With only a fraction of my opponents' funds, my support is growing the fastest!
I'm running to represent the bottom 60% of Americans, those of us who live paycheck to paycheck. I'm running to build a new future.

Sen. King is absolutely right. Seniors shouldn't go through a private middleman and then wait months for the bath mat to get approved. AND it costs taxpayers even more to cover the administrative costs of these companies to do the job Medicare can do itself.
Prevention measures like an $11 bath mat could save Americans tens of thousands of dollars.
If Medicare would send these out to every recipient in America, I’ll bet the investment would pay for itself in under a year.
Hm. A pool of 169 and didn't include me at all? That's not trustworthy polling, and I don't even need to be a researcher in the social sciences to see that. #mepolitics
