I want to thank everyone for the support of our program over the last few days.
We are truly saddened by the NCAA selection committee’s decision to leave us out of the field, and feel awful for our players.
We remain proud of our historic season even though it ended too soon.
When you get a group of players as special as this you just want so very badly for them to be champions. We couldn’t be happier that it ended up that way.
I will now celebrate this championship by watching a 4 1/2 hour dance recital.
Come join my Royals teammates and me on May 16 as we celebrate the 2014 AL Championship run, all proceeds benefit the Kansas City Royals Foundation. Get your spot here:https://t.co/vRqs5krNrv
PRAYERS FOR RYAN! Ryan was in a terrible accident last week. He has been in the ICU since then. Ryan is a fighter but needs all the prayers. It is going to be a very long and uphill battle. Please see this Go Fund Me link for more info. Thank you!

@JMoore4LSU@darrenrovell You got that right. Man we had some times playing that game. We may have tested the ole “the mountains are blue” theory a time or two as well.
@rick_cleveland The late great Ole Miss fella that sat above the 3rd base dugout is the GOAT. Had me in the dirt and out of the game in 2 innings. I’ll never forget his deep, nerve wrecking, voice.
