@cgallaty Every single thing follows this pattern. From firewire to lightning connector, fully controlled by apple, what users only can do is PAY to apple. And software standards for example alac codec, the apple lossless audio codec, is also closed until 2012, after flac become dominant.

@cgallaty Never doubt apples ability on breaking the open standards and privatize it, for money. Everything apple means proprietary, expensive, and doesn’t worth what u paid, and even u paid enough u finally found it’s hard to use af. This is disgusting and that’s why people hate apple.
