Our preprint 'Dementia wellbeing and COVID-19: review and expert consensus on current research and knowledge gaps' https://t.co/ZNKi10bJJL comes from discussions between a UK-based working group of dementia researchers & literature search for studies about dementia and COVID. 1/n
I’m also having lots of feedback about how brilliantly the vaccination centres are working and how impressive the set up is. In a sea of incompetence, investing in vaccines and rolling them out is likely to be the best thing this government has done. But the bar is set very low..
Carl another superb Spectator article - I gave up any hope of integrated science and common sense ! Hope you are on the SAGE committee or may be they already have a primary care person on it!

@djonesbutchers Inditex in Spain. It's the parent company of stores Zara, Pull and Bear amongst others. They have kept all staff on full pay (without government subsidies) and are using their factories to make PPE. The owner has also personally spent over €65mill on PPE for health workers.
How can anyone be seriously considering a lockdown that singles out 'over-70s' as if they are some homogeneous weak group of people. Many over-70s are fitter and stronger than 40 and 50 somethings. If democracy denies freedom where will it go next?
@BBCNewsnight@clarewenham Hear hear Clare - eventually some one with the courage to say what many of us have been thinking for weeks! The WHO guidance was really clear and the UK seems to have done the opposite in many areas! As the NZ PM said ‘go hard,go early’
So tonight we made a rainbow picture, and played with balloons! Thank you to all the wonderful health and social care professionals that are keeping us safe round the world. #StayHomeSaveLives#keepsafe#rainbowsofhope
