Sentences are significantly longer than they were 25 years ago for the same crimes. So the law and order types who love to opine about the good old days can be happy that with a 40% release date, prisoners will still have served what they would have 25 years ago ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@FridoKala I get weirdly focussed on personal stuff but stuff like making sure I keep food cupboards stocked up for emergencies now I'm lucky enough to be able to do that. My myth is to think I'm easily content as my Mum told as a small child I'd sit in corner quietly entertaining myself.

@FridoKala I think there is a thing about if you expectations are set low from the start you probably will kind of be more focussed on what really matters. Also it is probably something that gets passed down generations.
