@dodo Heartwarming story. I volunteer & do photography for my local shelter too. It feels so good to hear one of our “kids” was adopted because they saw the picture & fell in love. Volunteering is so rewarding. They help me as much as I help them.

@MMFlint I live in the 1st District in a small town in the UP. I vote in every election. Normally we have a very small turnout in primaries. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many voting. I joked that this time I was number 113 not number 9.

@gretchenwhitmer Thank you, as a contractor in Michigan, ending prevailing wage hurts our employees and has minimal impact on project bid price. Most of the extra cost comes from over the top (often unnecessary) contract demands, not wages.
