This is not a drill❗️48 nft discord's have been exploited through social engineering tactics the past month, over $900k stolen

And even if its kids & young adults doing it, these are REAL crimes with real victims. Stay vigilant

Got a DM in #Discord from what, at first glance, appears to be from a widely known and used bot; however, this is a #scam. How can I tell?

Draw your attention to the sender's name in all caps, bold. #Scammers use this strategy to trick their victims.

Be aware, block & report!

@Token_Sniffer's mission is to make the #CryptocurrencyMarket safer from malicious contracts, "rug pulls" and hacks.

This site scans contracts for known #scams, computes helpful token metrics, and maintains a list of scams/hacks.

What is a Metaverse Orientation Center (MOC)?

A #MOC is a Support-System-Community for the onboarding of new Web3 users.

MOCs are #IRL hubs in underrepresented communities; a space where marginalized creators can learn and shill together, in unity.

This was the first #NFT I ever bought. It's a fake. I found it exploring #OpenSea. So, I speak from experience when I tell you: only follow official links you find in the project's #Discord server.

#Web3 truly is a power-to-the-people kind of shift, an opportunity for people to regain ownership (also of their identities) and have access to a better internet that provides equal benefit to all its users.

We'd #LOVE to help with onboarding!

I'm dead serious about lighting this entire space on fire if it doesn't change fast. This year's goals:

1. Raise a $25M Fund
2. Onboard 10,000 non "white guys" into Web3
3. Launch a Venture Studio

Want to support this effort? Tag someone who doesn't know about me who should. 💪🏾

What does it mean to #mint an #NFT?

Think of minting as "adding" to the #blockchain.
Remember blockchain = ledger.

When a person mints an artwork, he/she is uniquely publishing it on the blockchain for the very first time, making it available for purchase.

[LoveWorksLLC @LoveWorksLLC]

This #NFT stuff didn't just "come out of nowhere."
When you think about it, your phone is non-fungible; your laptop and chair are both non-fungible items.

But now the art, the #IRL impact, the community, the shared benefits of being a #hodler is the #token.

If you're interested in an #NFTproject, join its #Discord. Most of the communication that happens for that #NFT happens on #Twitter / #TwitterSpaces and an app called Discord.

You can download Discord on your laptop or phone.
