Living the good lifeπ€
I can't believe I'm writing this because I'm soooo out of my depth and a little bit scared... but the world belongs to the brave, right?!
Say hello! to the new columnist at the GARDEN ANSWERS magazine!π₯³
THANK YOU to the loveliest editorial team for believing in me π #GardeningX
Yesterday was such a gorgeous and warm day π π
Many bees, butterflies and birdies around π₯°
Happy Monday - may this weather continue π
#Monday
Iβve not really gardened this summer π₯Ή
My mind wanted to, but I hit a βgardening blockβ π«
But the chillies I sowed in January somehow kept growing despite neglect, sporadic watering & heat and most days, they were my only reason to visit the plot β₯οΈπΆβ₯οΈ
They look lush π
@atGoldenValley I will save 2 of each peppers lol, dry them and save the seeds for next year and the rest i will freeze and add to my dishes throughout winter π
Gorgeous passionflower π
Really need to get my paws on some other varieties - I saw a few really funky ones on here some time ago, can't remember but pretty sure someone was breeding different varieties - do you know who?
They'd look lovely on my wall in the backyard π
Last time I posted a pic of an aubergine... my account got suspended π
Just look at this beauty! π
Only managed to grow one but isn't he gorgeous πππ₯°
@KateJellicoe Aww thank you Kate! I've had a similar experience this year - absolutely 0 time - just had to make a executive decision and allow the plot do it's thing on its own. But the great thing about gardening is that we can always start again π You'll smash it next year! π
4 winners of this summer:
Cacti
Loosestrife
Buddleja
Echinops
I've not watered any of these... NOT ONCE... and they're all thriving π
Everything else is dead and I actually started prep for next year... starting everything... again... from scratch π
