The origin story for MJ’s NASCAR team (23XI) is wild.
MJ had been buddies with NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin for years. One day, Hamlin sees a fake article saying him and MJ bought a Nascar team.
Sends it to MJ and MJ says: “Not real, but if you want to make it real, let me know.”
Great CBS segment on Michael Jordan’s Nascar team.
Still wants to play pro hoops but can’t so channeling competitive drive in racing: “I’m cursed with this competitive gene. Anything I do…if it’s getting dressed, I have to get dressed before my wife.”
Pete Hegseth blocked the promotion of four diverse Army officers to the rank of One-Star General, according to a New York Times report.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is blocking the promotion of four Army officers to be one-star generals, two of which are Black and two women on a list of roughly three dozen officers up for promotion, in a highly unusual move that has prompted some senior military officials to question whether the officers are being singled out because of their race or gender, according to The New York Times.
Hegseth had been pressing senior Army leaders, including Army Secretary Daniel P. Driscoll, for months to remove the officers’ names, military officials said. But Secretary Driscoll, citing the officers’ decades-long records of exemplary service, had repeatedly refused. Earlier this month, Hegseth broke the logjam by unilaterally striking the officers’ names from the list, though it is not clear he has the legal authority to do so. The list is currently being reviewed by the White House, which is expected to sent for final approval to the Senate.

The shit that is happening in Dallas is diabolical! Ken Paxton challenging the voting extension in Dallas County, and the judge telling Dallas County to set those votes aside, let's you know exactly who they want to go up against in the general.
@jacobinfante24 I mean I love Drew but c'mon we need all that money back! He isn't playing and the team shouldn't be on the hook for additional compensation for not playing

Share if you care, because we should assume everyone knows it’s early voting right now in Texas.
Trump’s Department of Education has moved to strip nurses of our professional status and make school more expensive — but there's still time to push back.
