“I Believe That We Will Win” sounds like entitlement. But what if it’s just rehearsal for identity?
My thoughts on #USMNT last night and the identity of World Cup teams. #FWC26

Through 4 days of the #WorldCup, there has been an average of 3.16 goals per game. This would be the most since 1958.‼️
There has also yet to be a 0-0 game. Lots of action so far!
@thejuiceshowpod There are times to be cynical about football, and if something is a mess it’s fair to speak up, but this the World Cup it’s what childhood memories are made of let’s enjoy it.
@TaylorTwellman I don’t disagree those players did not need physicality. Learning, loving and expressing that on the pitch is on if football’s greatest qualities. However, the modern game has and is leaning towards physical attributes, players in the 90s were not the specimens we have today.
@DavidKrych@starsnstripesfc That’s fair, maybe only over the air stations only? World Cup is protected im England as something that must be free to air.
@ClawForThatInch I began a similar journey just this week! Felt like giving up, like it’s shouting into the void. These are words I didn’t even know I needed to hear.
