✅Certified propane or gas fueled fire pits/rings/bowls/etc. that have a mechanical shut-off to immediately stop the flow of the fuel.
Due to the continued hot and dry weather, a total fire ban will be put in place for all of Loyalist Township as of 12 a.m. on August 12, 2025.
Prohibited:
🚫All open-air fires including brush fires, agriculture fires, campfires, fire in an outdoor fireplace, etc.

Holiday decorations and open flames are a fire hazard all too common this season. Use battery-powered candles, keep candles away from pets & children, put candles in sturdy containers and always blow out when you leave the room. Make the holidays happy with working smoke alarms!
