Thanks @calebsaysthings for teaching us a new phrase on the pod - “crowdsourcing your anxiety” - which means firing off every anxious thought you have into a group chat. I will be incorporating this into my everyday speech.
@RadarOfTheStars @biggestjoel Enthusiastic interest has a high price for straigh women because most men have exactly 0 chill. If you show interest then 9/10 you have to act on it NOW or 💙‘s. It rings the same as women who feel uncomfortable changing infront of long time partners bc they feel sexualized.
I wish they would include the number of tests run in their stats about the number of positive cases per day. 70 positives is definitely high no matter what but 70+/100 is just a different than 70+/1000.
@TimHerrera I work in the emergency response department of an animal shelter. We have never produced a net profit as we exist solely to improve animal welfare. COVID didn’t effect us, it’s business as usual. Measuring job relevance by capital gain alone creates job instability.
@speakmymind2020@frizzol1@ThomasBlackGG Northerners have EXTENSIVE snow removal crews and equipment that keep people on the roads and cities functioning. The plows and standby crew cost millions per year. Southern cities have no need to invest in that cost. Get your head out of your ass.
#Gender thoughts: When others refer to me as she/her it feels very “uwu” but writing “herself” in reference to me feels
🌀uncomfortable🌀
Does anyone else exclusively feel weird when self-identifying with their AAB gender?
@heymarimba This is well put. I have definitely found myself flip flopping between the self absorbed nature of “I can’t believe it” and the apathetic nature of “I’m not surprised” quite frequently throughout my life. Alliship lies somewhere between denying and appropriating hardships
