I wish they would include the number of tests run in their stats about the number of positive cases per day. 70 positives is definitely high no matter what but 70+/100 is just a different than 70+/1000.

@TimHerrera I work in the emergency response department of an animal shelter. We have never produced a net profit as we exist solely to improve animal welfare. COVID didn’t effect us, it’s business as usual. Measuring job relevance by capital gain alone creates job instability.

@heymarimba This is well put. I have definitely found myself flip flopping between the self absorbed nature of “I can’t believe it” and the apathetic nature of “I’m not surprised” quite frequently throughout my life. Alliship lies somewhere between denying and appropriating hardships
