“Results in reading, mathematics and science were above the national average and comparable to the average results in Germany and Sweden.”
These are the results of our pilot program, which includes AI tutors and has been running in 171 public schools for just over a year.
It was evaluated by PISA for Schools in June of this year. Since then, it has already expanded to more than 1,000 schools, and within 18 months, it will be in every public school in our country.
In a few years, El Salvador will inspire the world.

There is some confusion/mistaken belief that Chinese models are run by Chinese companies in China. People hesitate to use the "open source" model because they don't trust China as a jurisdiction.
How it actually works:
Frontier closed source models are run by the companies that made them.
• GPT 5.6 is trained & run by OpenAI
• Opus 5 is trained & run by Anthropic
But the open source models can be run by anyone
• Kimi K3 is trained by Moonshot (Chinese company)
• Kimi K3 is run by Moonshot
• Kimi K3 is ALSO RUN by anyone else (any company can run it)
If you access Kimi K3 from https://t.co/FVFlibYL6q, then you're pulling the inference from Moonshot, the Chinese company.
But you can also access Kimi K3 from https://t.co/iUPC8ijDPN for example, in which case there is no Chinese company involved in its operation or the data therein. Dozens of others also provide it.
So if you want the open source model, but are wary of China as jurisdiction, just go to a different source.
While we are doing lobbying for AI laws, I propose this. All providers of closed source models are 100% liable for their outputs. Copyright, libel, conspiracy, fraud, etc... If you want safe harbor from this liability, release the weights. This is real AI safety legislation.
AI models – especially Claude Sonnet 3.7 – often realize when they’re being evaluated for alignment.
Here’s an example of Claude's reasoning during a sandbagging evaluation, where it learns from documentation that it will not be deployed if it does well on a biology test:
Deep in his notebooks, Leonardo da Vinci had a mind-blowing idea:
That the human body is a scale model of Earth.
And that's just the beginning — his theory will change the way you see everything… 🧵
@jimkxa We are very interested in this, probably what the first version of the tiny chip will be. We don't need any of the graphics stuff, just compute.
A 256 core 32-wide SIMD RISC-V.
Hi everyone yes, I left OpenAI yesterday. First of all nothing "happened" and it’s not a result of any particular event, issue or drama (but please keep the conspiracy theories coming as they are highly entertaining :)). Actually, being at OpenAI over the last ~year has been really great - the team is really strong, the people are wonderful, and the roadmap is very exciting, and I think we all have a lot to look forward to. My immediate plan is to work on my personal projects and see what happens. Those of you who’ve followed me for a while may have a sense for what that might look like ;) Cheers
A disease is a function of a system that optimizes for its own needs at the expense of the rest of the system.
Consequently, it takes more from its environment than it contributes. Diseases happen when a system is unable to communicate with its own constituents.
By uncommunication it forces the neglected parts of the system to an extreme
communication
A tumor is a region of a system that optimizes for its local needs at the expense of the rest of the system. Consequently, it takes more from its environment than it contributes. Tumors happen when a system is unable to recognize whether its constituents serve its specification.
@realGeorgeHotz@comma_ai this is dedication whitout wavering
i admire the clarity
i wonder was it always this clear for you and what keeps you on track?
