A huge thank you to the nearly 40 amazing volunteers of all ages who showed up at Shamrock Park this morning for our clean-up day!

From tackling weeds to freshening things up with a coat of paint, so much was accomplished in just a few hours. Your energy, teamwork, and community spirit made a real difference.

We’re so grateful for everyone who gave their time today—what a fantastic effort! 👏

Portadown manager, David Jeffrey MBE, has asked for the following message to be passed on to those who gave up their time today,

"I would like to pass on my heartfelt appreciation to those supporters who turned up in their numbers today and helped in whatever way they could to give our home a spring-clean and freshen up ahead of pre-season.

It gave me so much encouragement to see so many, including David Douglas, Jim Ervin, Shane Dolan and Chris Loughran from my backroom team, giving up their Saturday morning and coming together to work as one. It was particularly endearing for me to see supporters of all ages and across generations putting their time and effort into our club and I must say I also really enjoyed the fellowship and friendship in the boardroom as we all reflected on our efforts over a cup of tea and something to eat.

I would particularly like to place on record my thanks to David Jameson Junior, who headed up today's project and ensured everyone knew their role and had the correct equipment to do their job effectively and efficiently.
