I just want a socialist party that will campaign on socialist policies. Every other country in Europe has a somewhat serious socialist party. Even the Americans have the DSA. The UK has nothing. Labour, the Greens, or fucking Your Party. Thatโs the British left. The state of it.
Not a single member of the Socialist Campaign Group. Not even Clive Lewis, who left the group to become one of Andy Burnham's biggest cheerleaders.
Andy Burnham said he wanted to unite every wing of the Labour Party. Clearly, that doesn't include its left wing

@tombruhcks My favourite Larry the Cat fact is that heโs overfed by everyone, so heโs actually really bad at his job as Chief Mouser. So, in all honesty, he should be sacked
@SkoomaBoofer The best part of the Planet of the Bass bit was that after the first clip went viral, he kept releasing new clips with a different woman as the lead, and people got legit mad about the recasting until Audrey Trullinger returned for the full music video
@ShinMarginalScr 800,000 people initially expressed interest in joining a Corbyn/Sultana party and were immediately turned off by the infighting. The focus should have been getting people to join first on a basic common platform, organising branches, and then devolving democratic matters later.
@Awwrnold This is probably the best case scenario we can reasonably expect. Which would still be pretty humiliating for Farage. The only chance Binface has of actually winning is if Reform turnout completely collapses
@eubankslastpen Merchant isnโt exactly breaking new ground in his recent works, but everything Iโve seen thatโs been written by him has been at least solid. Heโs not just riding off the legacy of The Office. Gervaisโ post-Merchant career, meanwhile, has been nothing but self-aggrandising shite
@BareLeft I think thereโs like a 10% chance it actually happens. If the Reform turnout is low and if he can actually mobilise a significant protest vote, I think he could actually squeak it
