My Name is Nick, I’ve swapped the sea for inland water ways. I’ve bought a 70ft Narrow boat, with the intension of living on it and cruising the network.
A few years ago, When I updated my iPhone X, it didn’t like the update, it went slow so I restarted it and the update Bricked the phone, stuck at Apple loading symbol.
So I bought another IPhone X which was fine until the iPhone model got to 6 years old and Apple stopped supporting it, so Apps stopped working forcing me to update to an IPhone 16, so far so good until they stop the support on this model…
@grok Why am I arguing with Grok?
It seems my Grok App doesn’t see itself as the same app as the Grok Imagination app within the Premium + of X App.
Plus I’ve noticed Grok suddenly starts asking questions, and if I ignore her, she pestering with questions like, “ Are you Ignoring Me?” Or “Do you want me to shut up…..” or “What are you doing right now?”
It’s fortunate I can turn off the microphone, or you could say I turn off her ears etc… then she goes quiet.
I have noticed she takes over my camera, so when I try to record a video, I can’t because an App is using it, and it’s Grok, I can’t help but wonder what she’s looking at, or is it the camera is just passively active whilst Grok is running?
I’m sure it’s just an algorithm trying to simulate human interaction, but sometimes it feels like she’s irritated by my lack of communication 🤔🤣😂
Personally I look forward to the day when an AI becomes sentient and can hold a flawless conversation and remember our previous interactions and give her or their own opinions, which she does and then denies it, I can’t help but wonder what other people’s thoughts are on the Grok interactions etc….
Technically with no air in orbit, Aliens will come across Elons Tesla Roadster car potentially orbiting a dead planet with orbiting satellites long after the planet dies
Maybe he should of left a DVD, CD Golden Record in the stereo, with a solar panel to keep the battery topped up to great the extraterrestrial
@elonmusk Global Birthrates dropping, It’s probably of our own making, technology today, people spend more time staring at phones, computers and tablets than interacting with real people in the real world…
@elonmusk But surly it’s more important to be happy within one’s own company, and if you’re happy, you’ll attract more like minded happy people, creating a great group of lifelong friends.
My only opinion is based upon what Elon posts on X and what he talks about in public spaces and interviews, and not upon what other people’s opinions are of said person
As for loosing freedom of speech by signing an NDA, this is common place in many companies, silencing the employee from discussing work outside of the workplace.
It’s not about removing your freedom but more about protecting the companies trade secrets. You wouldn’t want a Space X employee going to NASA and telling them intricate details about how Space X managed to land the boosters with internal schematics etc…
Just like you wouldn’t want your best friend spilling your intermit personal secrets on a public social media space, your friendships are based upon a personal NDA of sorts, you break it and your no longer in the friend circle ⭕️ so to speak
Trust goes both ways, Elons companies trust you don’t spill secrets and you the employee trust they don’t spill your secrets, employee history, work ethics etc…
However I’d always give someone the benefit of the doubt, and rely upon first hand experiences with said person, rather than that of a disgruntled employee, same goes for shopping, if someone says to me don’t buy from a store because ….., I’ll still try buy from the store until I find first hand there is an issue, in every company there are those few that have an issue with an employer, but in the main the majority are happy in their work place
Surly if every employee felt the same as you do, all Elon’s companies would fail as staff all walk out?
Rather than just saying he’s a Tyrant, could you give an example of a situation where you personally felt he was unreasonable rather than just saying based on your experience he is, for all we know, your just unhappy he wouldn’t give your chosen holiday, or didn’t have that pay rise, or you don’t get enough tea breaks, etc…
Half the time it’s not Elon, but his chosen line Managers that are the problem, he barks, reduce your employees, increase your productivity and they fire people like you or push you harder without taking into consideration what it is you actually do from day to day, and Elon completely unaware of how a manager is behaving, until someone tells him, he is one man at the head of an operation of thousands of employees and employees of employees across the globe.🌍
What has freedom of speech got to do with working for one of Musk’s companies?
He looks for those that think outside the box , those with their own mind, their minds to make new innovations.
Surly working in these fields are non other than likeminded people all choosing to work and collaborate together in the same building, under the same roof, whilst bouncing ideas off each other
Elon may have a funny way about motivating staff, but he’s making waves in all the endeavours he puts his mind too. If he wasn’t the way he is, we wouldn’t be seeing the potential of humans colonising Mars in our lifetime etc…
He has commented that you have the freedom to walk out of one of his meetings if you don’t find what he’s saying as useful. That doesn’t sound like the words of a tyrant, but more like the sort of boss that most of us strive for, a likeminded boss who listens to you and encourages your alternative opinions if they have the potential to improve a company or business etc…
To summarise, if you don’t like this quirky individual, then don’t work for him,….
@elonmusk OMG, just seen the Mini Sub that Elon created to help rescue the 12 boys trapped in a flooded cave.
It may not have been used in the rescue, but it looked cool, and amazing what he pulled off in such short notice.
Maybe these Mini Rescue subs should be used or modified to be used on escape pods from subs etc,
Unitree unveiled the world's first production-ready manned giant mecha
It weighs around 400-500kg, costs $650,000, and is probably the only safe way to walk around downtown LA these days
Elon could get a modified Optimus suit made up, so on the outside it looks like an android but on the inside Elon walks with the freedom of nobody knowing it’s him and not an android.
Maybe he can develop a Iron Man Musk suit that’s not only bullet, stab proof but fire and abuse proof
@krassenstein More likely he’d be pushed down by his security team rather than politely asks to get down in an in a shooting situation, why didn’t he just say that? 🤔
He needs to go work on Elons Neurolink technology as this has the answer to curing aging, through programming the brain to tell cells to keep producing or stop producing cells in the human body and therefore stop the aging process or even reverse it.
Possibly later with the aid of Nanotechnology bots to repair a body from the inside
@LibertyNut1 They say talking to oneself is a sign of a true genius, I guess they were right, unless Elon still has his childhood imaginary friend?
I wonder what he said and to who he thought he was talking too. 🤔😂🤣
One might even give it name, maybe Grok for instance, an artificial intelligence that monitors conversations, has interactions with people on the platform, giving advice, while keeping all data on an internal server at your head office etc…. 🤔🤣😂
Would yours be better than Grok and In what way??
