I believe in democracy, equality, freedom, love & empathy. All of which don't come cheap and must be cherished & protected. I’m also an Animal rights supporter.
@ZackPolanski Not that facts matter to you, but Mandela never said it. Mandela also never targeted or murdered civilians. You can’t hypnotize us to believe lies.
Last night, another Jewish synagogue in London was firebombed, this time in Kenton.
This is the third such attack in as many days, and also comes after the recent ambulance arson attack and a supposed drone threat against the Israeli embassy in London this week.
This is now becoming a terrifying spate of daily arson attacks on the Jewish community. It betrays a cataclysmic failure of the state – politicians, police chiefs and prosecutors – to tackle antisemitic extremism in this country, which has gone largely unchecked for two and a half years.
Britain is fundamentally a different country now.
Still the Government refuses to proscribe Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, an obvious first step to address foreign radicalisation and interference.
It is shocking if apparent concern for the sensitivities of a violent Iranian regime is more important to the Government than the welfare of Jewish people in this country.
JUST IN: Hostage families write to @Keir_Starmer, warning recognition of a Palestinian state "has dramatically complicated efforts" to free the hostages.
"Do not take this step until our loved ones are home and in our arms," they're begging him.
Meeting with the families of Israeli hostages yesterday I was struck by their continued strength during this horrific ordeal. Their loved ones need access to aid and proper care and must be returned. Now.
Our message to Hamas is unchanged: release all the hostages immediately
Here at the United Nations in Geneva, after Iran, Libya, Algeria, Venezuela and others condemned Israel for bombing Hamas in Qatar, I just took the floor to deliver the following speech. Pakistan interrupted me in the middle.
“Mr. President, we have heard a lot about international law – from the world’s worst violators of international law. It’s time to challenge the perpetrators.
And so, we ask Qatar:
If you don’t want targeted bombings against terrorists in your capital, why do you harbor terrorists in your capital? Terrorists who are still holding hostages, torturing them, and rejecting peace deals?
Why did you host Ismail Haniyeh, Khaled Mashal, and Khalil al-Hayya in luxury hotels, from where where they planned their terror?
Why did you back Hamas’s Gaza coup in 2007?
Why have you funneled billions since then, fueling their terror machine, empowering their 5 wars against Israel?
Why did you blame Israel for October 7, absolving Hamas of massacring 1200 Israelis, Americans and others?
Why is your state-owned Al Jazeera serving as the terror group’s non-stop propaganda arm?
Why do you act as mediator by day, and a terror sponsor by night?
Mr. President, the record shows: Qatar is a state sponsor of terror. The Gulf states said so in 2017, when they suspended ties with Qatar.
Yesterday, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and French President Emmanuel Macron condemned Israel.
But when the U.S. killed Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan, the UN chief at the time celebrated that “justice has been done to such a mastermind of international terrorism.”
France called it a “victory for all democracies.”
We ask both: how is this different?
When Israel captured the Nazi Adolf Eichman, rescued the hostages at Entebbe, and destroyed Saddam’s nuclear reactor, the U.N. condemned Israel.
Each time, history vidicated Israel.
And history shall remember the courage of those who acted, and the disgrace of those who condemned.”
Trump, moved to tears by the Hamxs video of hostage Evyatar David, called on Israel to secure a full hostage release deal, then wipe out Hamxs and its leadership abroad.
Today Ireland becomes the first country in Europe to bring forward legislation to ban trade with the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Ireland is speaking up and speaking out against the genocidal activity in Gaza.
Every country must pull every lever at its disposal.
'It’s an utter obscenity—and it points to how many sick people there are in our society’
@DouglasKMurray & @CamillaTominey discuss Henry Jackson Society polling which found just 25% of British Muslims believe Hamas raped and murdered Israelis during the October 7th terror attack
🚨BBC BIAS (yet again)
Today my team received this remarkable message from a @BBC producer at @bbcworldservice.
They don’t want to interview someone knowledgeable, nor someone relevant, just someone who fits the predetermined narrative.
There is nothing balanced or impartial about this.
Should a man who celebrated the Hamas atrocities of 7 October be welcomed to Number 10? Someone who runs a mosque with a nasty antisemitic record?
We have an answer tonight. It is “yes”, in the shape of the Liverpool imam Adam Kelwick, shown on the left here. Happy clappy! 1/9
“High Commissioner, my name is Luai Ahmed, and I come from Yemen.
May I ask why your report mentions Israel 188 times — yet fails to mention the Islamic Republic of Iran even once?
How can you speak about the conflict while ignoring the party that has armed, trained, and funded the terror proxies — Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis — who have been bombing Israel thousands of times?
Why don't you mention the Houthis in Yemen who have spent millions of dollars firing missiles at Israel, instead of feeding my starving people?
I ask the UN, the Arab League, and everyone who has been raising the Palestinian flag since October 7: Where is the galg og Yemeni flag?
In my country, half a million people have died in the last 10 years. The biggest famine and humanitarian crisis in modern history. Why does no one care when half a million Yemenis die?
What about Sudan? In less than two years, more than 150,000 people have been killed. Where is the flag of Sudan?
What about Syria? Half a million Syrian have been killed. Where is the Syrian flag?
High Commissioner, why is it that when Arabs kill millions of Arabs, no one bats an eye? Where is the outrage, and where are the protests?
And why is Qatar sitting here as a member of this Human Rights Council when they host the Hamas terror chiefs in luxury hotels?”
