Barely a month ago this man was imprisoned for the violent rape of a Sikh woman believing that she was a Muslim. No Douglas Murray articles in the Spectator, no Baroness Fox speech in the Lords. No riots. Two tier? Too right https://t.co/8wABWe3bww
Murder of Henry Nowak is NOT our “George Floyd”
A jury found Floyd was killed by a white police officer, actions celebrated by some on the Right
Nowak was killed by a Sikh civilian, condemned by everyone & deserves to rot in jail
Sarah Everard was our “Floyd”
Never forget her
We’ve hit a big landmark – 10 million free breakfasts served.
10 million better days at school – more children turning up, concentrating, getting on.
10 million easier mornings for parents – better drop-offs & commutes.
Change doesn’t happen by chance, it comes with Labour. 🌹
Not a parliamentarian.
Not a member of the Shadow Cabinet.
And certainly not the Shadow Home Secretary.
Also missed “Ltd” off the end of Reform UK.
This is just not true, @ZiaYusufUK
We will only deliver the change we promised and beat populism by governing with Labour and trade union values.
Why we must reject alliances with rival parties:
I really worry about the demonisation of the whip, the whole point of Labour is we achieve more together than alone.
2 months of working in Aus and main things I have learnt is the Labor message discipline is key.
Tell the Labour councillors who’ve just lost their seats because of the smears from Green candidates, all they need to do is form a ‘progressive alliance’.
Nothing progressive about harbouring racists, many of whom, we deemed not fit to represent or be members of the Labour Party.
The biggest issue is the unsociable voting hours that mean MPs can often only catch up with friends on the estate bars during votes.
It really doesn’t have to be that way and isn’t in many other countries…
'MPs are office workers - they're not conducting open heart surgery.'
Chief Secretary to the PM Darren Jones gives @BenKentish his thoughts on MPs drinking during work hours, after a Green MP raised concerns.
Wanting to support WASPI women whilst ignoring the major student debt crisis is ridiculous and unfair.
We desperately need to address the deep generational inequality in the UK.
Nothing makes me lose respect for a politician more than them backing the WASPI campaign
It is us young people deserving a 10 billion injection, not the elderly who already have their homes, families and regular income
Nine years on from the Manchester Arena terror attack, my thoughts are with those who lost their lives, the survivors, and their loved ones.
Last year I was proud to deliver on my promise to Figen Murray to introduce Martyn’s Law, in memory of her son Martyn Hett.
Martyn’s Law will help save lives by making sure venues and event spots have clear plans in place and are ready to act if the worst happens.

There’s been a bit of discourse about parliamentary staff pay recently.
As a staffer I welcome it! MPs should absolutely pay staff decent wages.
But blaming Labour or any other MP alone misses the real issue - IPSA.
