It’s me! @NHMU is a gorgeous museum, the dinosaur displays are so cool, take a look! I’ve had a great week scanning all the reptile vertebral columns 🦖🦕🐊🦆🦎 @Artec3DScanners@CentralScanLtd
On #FossilFriday, Lucy Roberts, from the University of Cambridge (@zoologymuseum), is at @NHMU to study the diversity of vertebral columns across all reptiles. In this video, she is scanning a Kosmoceratops vertebra using handheld @Artec3DScanners: https://t.co/x5R83hGowh

Also big up @Wolves 🐺
@quadzilla42@mrjamesob@PaulGoldsmith73 Yeah exactly! Actually I think we’re on the same side here, this clip is him making fun of the right wing, so it’s left wing comedy. ‘Right wing comedy’ would be in support of right wing opinions.
I've had the absolute pleasure of working with the Domínguez-Domínguez lab at the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo over the last year, providing assistance with English translation to ensure as many people as possible get to read their fantastic work. 1/5
@NHMdinolab@LukeGrinham@Artec3DScanners The biggest mounted specimen I've scanned is probably Allosaurus, but only the vertebral column. I think it took about an hour, maybe less, with the spider. Individual sauropod verts about 20-30 mins with all the rearranging positions.
@LukeGrinham@NHMdinolab I've surface scanned individual sauropod verts using our lab's @Artec3DScanners Space Spider. With mounted specimens it's trickier to scan with it as its such high res, so for a mounted sauropod I think their Eva scanner would be a better option.
