Delighted to share this incredible project!!! This collection features a short story from me, but more than that it has over a dozen stories and art pieces from incredible, creative people--All playing with queer adaptations of one of Shakespeare's best!

There is a special vitriol
I reserve for wine.
Not because I hate it more than other things
But because this one creature does not care if I dislike it.
And so I may spit each mouthful with contempt
While elsewhere I hold my tongue for fear of doing harm.
I just read -- in the book SEE WHAT YOU MADE ME DO by Jess Hill -- about the incident in Stockholm for which Stockholm Syndrome is named, and I am royally pissed off on behalf of all women, buckle up.
@nosplendorr Oh SO MUCH disagreement with that person. I bought in in the first 3 minutes and didn't stop mentally straining at the edges of the film, desperate for the next moment, until the credits rolled.
Also, horse good.
It is simple to form
a body in a void
the struggle is bringing it in contact
touch dimpling skin
--soft finger, sharp nail--
the blossom of heat in
the smallest brush
when the void would be
so much easier.
I try to do something Different every NaNoWriMo, to stretch my horizons and find what I want to focus on for the next year of my writing. This year, that's leading me down the path of a brand new series of books aimed DIRECTLY at the weirdo horse girl I was when I was 13.
Who's that bald bird?
It's Bluey!
This time of year I get lots of calls from people worried about naked-headed blue jays & cardinals. This is common; all the head feathers molting at once. She and her wild brethren will be back to their normal selves in a week or so!
