It's crazy that all pregnant women & people aren't routinely given info about #groupBStrep or the chance to find out if they're carrying GBS.

On 20 March 1996, baby Theo Plumb died at 17 and a half hours old from group B Strep infection. Nobody mentioned group B Strep to Theo’s parents, Jane and Robert, until after their baby son had died...
The T-series bacteriophages have impacted my career and are microbes our lab's research continues to use as model organisms.
