.@FilmicPro I purchased a perpetual license for Filmic Pro from the Apple Store in 2018 and went to open it today and get a splash screen saying I have to pay weekly or yearly for access to use it? I clicked on the already purchased button and it claims that I haven't purchased it. I have the receipt for the perpetual license to Filmic Pro attached from 2018 when I purchased the perpetual license and Cinematographer kit upgrade.
I understand wanting to move to a subscription based model moving forward because of all the money you can make but you need to continue honoring the perpetual licenses you sold to your earlier customers who supported your businesses and believed in your product and more importantly didn't want a subscription based service which is why they purchased it in the first place instead of going with Adobe.
I also looked at the Filmic Legacy app in the Apple Store that you claim I can still use since I purchased Filmic Pro before a certain date. Well, that app has a 1.3 star review and has Legacy written on the icon and not Pro like the product I purchased.
Please DM me so we can get this resolved. This is not an acceptable way to treat existing customers who have a perpetual license to your product. #BaitAndSwitch #Appstore #iOS
Dear @CallofDuty Community,
Due to the virality of my previous COD tweets, I've learned a ton from developer "feedback." Here's a thread to explain:
📉 Call of Duty Isn't Getting Better:
If your expectations were meaningful changes coming anytime soon, I'd stop holding out hope. Even if we gave them a list of problems a year ago, it still wouldn't be possible.
🔒 Developers & Gamers are Disconnected:
Unlike the relationship you can build with a streamer, the same can't happen with a developer. They have seemingly no interest in explanation for problems at hand, which can be found via quote tweets on my original thread. Only 1 of over 100+ explained anything without being asked. Additionally, it's not really in their job description.
🕹️ Our Feedback Isn't Good Enough:
Developers need a way to replicate what we're showing them. Without giving them clear instructions as to what's happening, possibly with video evidence, we're going to make it nowhere on many bugs.
🪲 Game Bugs Have a Tier System:
Clearly some bugs are more important than others, but the choice as to which bugs are and aren't is entirely up to those producing the game. This can be for a list of different reasons, but it doesn't mean they don't know about an issue that's been there for months - it just doesn't matter as much.
💰 Call of Duty is Solely a Business:
This may seem obvious, based on the different ways they monetize us, but many people believe it's not COD's job to cater to it's consumers. We could play a different game, and while that doesn't make COD better for everyone, it's still an option.
💺 "Arm Chair Developers"
Coined by those in the industry, this term is used by industry folk to describe the casual player with an opinion on how games should work. We don't know what we're talking about, but we shouldn't be expected to. Be civil and share your feedback with care.
⌛ Companies Run on a Set Timeline:
Even if many of these companies wanted to make the changes being asked of them, they have timelines in place that physically cannot be changed as it would hurt more than just themselves. This could be ad agencies, printing companies, partners, and many more.
🧙 More Developers Isn't Really an Option:
While it would be great to just throw more people at a problem, there's a lot more to it than that. The people being added are likely uninformed on the process, and frankly, too many cooks in the kitchen doesn't help.
💣 We Don't Matter:
I don't mean the average player, I mean you and me. If we're on social media, that makes us the outliers, believe it or not - the "Vocal Minority." Most players have no clue what's wrong with the game, and will happily play it without a care in the world.
💎 Our Pleads ARE Being Heard:
Based on "server instability" being added to Infinity Ward's Trello Board, it's safe to say they see what we're saying. Sure, they may not care, but we don't know if that's the case or not. Guess we'll have to wait and see, or switch to another game.
Welp it’s officially all of my build plans need a waterblock on this monster. So the race is on, ekwb says nov 21 they can get me a block, here’s to hoping @Optimus_WC can get one here faster!
@JGODYT The difference between a feature and a bug (for 20 some odd years of shepherding developers) is essentially; whether or not the developer is going to fix it.
So these are all features. Unless they get fixed in which case: they were indeed bugs.
@TV_ElNitro @shady_only ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I had to go dig searching for you link, and that’s the same in that it’s a green screen. But it’s not a put down, rotate and lift up, done. 60 second setup and break down process.
I make money, I only lose time.
@ModernWarzone Everything related to WWII cod post world at war has been the worst IMO.
Vanguard was the worst thing to happen to warzone, besides hacking
@CptT95@Optimus_WC The EK active back plate doesn’t clear so I wouldn’t hold my breath that this one will. This has been asked a lot and not answered sadly.
