Legal precedent has been set. Doctors will look at this case, and suddenly decide they have better things to do than take on $2M liability by pushing Frankenstein Healthcare on young, confused, vulnerable children.

It will start at the surgical level, with doctors refusing to perform operations and prescribe hormones; then, activist therapists, counsellors, and psychiatrists will start wonder why their referrals are being refused... before they themselves start getting slapped with non-inconsequential lawsuits enabled by stricter and stricter laws.

Finally, the political machine funding them all will start to crumble with budget re-allocations and financial audits. The parasites will be bled dry - the cancer upon healthcare will be chemo'd.

Dropped a new substack post today...brief summary:

Trump promised $100 billion in oil investments to rebuild Venezuela.

On January 9th, he got oil executives in a room and got a reality check instead.

ExxonMobil CEO to Trump's face: "Venezuela today is uninvestable."

ConocoPhillips CEO: We're owed $12 billion from the last time we trusted Venezuela.

Trump: "Good writeoff."

CEO: "It's already been written off."

Here's what nobody's saying out loud:

Chavez claimed 300 billion barrels of reserves in 2011. Never independently audited. OPEC just publishes what members report. Actual recoverable reserves? Probably 80 to 110 billion. Maybe.

Venezuela owes $60 billion in arbitration awards from seizing foreign assets. ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips got burned in 2007. Assets nationalized. Years of legal battles. Billions awarded. Venezuela hasn't paid.

And now Trump wants them back for round three.

The regulatory reforms needed? Constitutional amendments. Legislative action. 3 to 5 years minimum.

The timeline problem? Trump has 36 months left. Oil companies think in 10 to 20 year payback windows.

Nobody's betting $100 to $200 billion on that.

@karivscoag Im against this move, and it's easier said than done but Mexico really needed to continue combating these cartels without letting off the gas after Caldero's time. This administration will want something in return at the cost of American lives if any &/military service.

What this actually looks like:

ICE tries to get woman who thinks she's being cute for a video to move her vehicle.

Three agents surround the vehicle, one from the front, two from the driver's side. Likely looking to gain control of the situation. It is not cute to them, as they're being surrounded by a mob.

Woman panics, realizing this is in fact not cute, and attempts to flee thinking she can avoid arrest. Tire loses traction and the car doesn't immediately respond to gas input. Woman panics further and guns the gas causing an erratic vehicle take off.

Agent at the front of the vehicle almost gets hit. Agents respond by opening fire thinking the woman is using the vehicle as a deadly weapon, trying to hit the lead ICE agent at the front of the vehicle.

Woman who shouldn't have even been there, but was there because she got spun out of control on TikTok drama dies.

Agents have to live with it. Will likely have people demanding a mob-style execution by COB today.

What the Right Wants: Psychotic leftist domestic terrorist tries to kill ICE agents! We should use more force.

What the Left Wants: Fascist NAZI psychopaths are murdering women and children! We should use more force.

Who actually wins: Minnesota politicians and bureaucrats who can spin this into a riot and continue to avoid accountability for fraud. Federal politicians who can use the flames to continue to avoid accountability for a billionaire child sex trafficking ring.

Here lies the core issue of the status-quo enjoyer.
They simply have no frame of reference for recent history, and especially history that they lived through. Everything is seen through the lense of some pompus neoliberal academic that blamed the "American consumer" ignoring all of the government interventionism that brought us to where we are.

They will say that ACTUALLY Americans want bigger houses which is why small starter homes are a thing of the past and why housing is so expensive. MEANWHILE minimum lot sizes literally MADE BUILDING SMALL STARTER HOMES FOR YOUNG FAMILIES ILLEGAL.

They will say that ACTUALLY americans want bigger cars, which is why we don't have small trucks. MEANWHILE CAFE regulations made building THIS TRUCK ILLEGAL.

No. Consumers didn't wake up one day and decide they didn't want a 2 seater pickup that got 25 mpg and told Ford marketing surveys they want massive trucks that feel like your driving a boeing 737. Those trucks were regulated out of existence by accellerated CAFE standardsd under democrats who literally wanted to regulate the ICE out of the market.

This was compounded by the fact that these larger more expensive products are only accessible via financing which has made lenders unfathomably wealthy and contributed to the over financialization of the American economy.
