A backtest tells you how a strategy would have behaved on historical data.
The more interesting test starts when the strategy has to deal with market data it hasn’t seen before.
That’s why Kronix will keep historical backtests and forward paper performance separate.
Before real capital enters the picture, traders should be able to see how a strategy has actually behaved since it was published, not just how good it looked in hindsight.
That difference matters.
Meet Rex and Kix. 👋

Not every strategy should make it onto a marketplace.
The first strategies on Kronix are coming from professional quants who already spend their time building, testing and refining systematic strategies.
That matters because the quality of the marketplace starts with the quality of the strategies inside it.
There’s a distribution problem in systematic trading.
A quant can spend months building a strategy, but getting it in front of traders often means building an entire product around it or revealing more than they want to.
At the same time, traders looking for systematic strategies are left comparing signals, screenshots, bots and scattered performance claims with very little context.
Kronix gives professional quants a way to keep their strategy logic private while building a track record.
Traders get a place to discover those strategies, understand how they’ve performed, allocate capital and automate the ones they want to follow.
A good strategy should be able to reach more people without the quant giving away the playbook.
We took the stage at Superteam Nepal's Demo Day! 🇳🇵
@Lujadev showcased what we're building at Kronix: a curated marketplace where quants can publish their trading strategies, and traders can discover, evaluate, and automate them.
We're just getting started.
Big thanks to @SuperteamNPL and @superteam for the opportunity!
Pitched @KronixTrade at the @superteam Demo Day!
We're getting closer to launch, bringing in the features our beta users have been asking for.
It was a great opportunity to showcase what we've been building.
Bringing quant strategies to the world!

Kronix is a marketplace for quant strategies, where professional quants publish their strategies and traders can copytrade them.
8 quants are already building the initial strategies for Kronix.
Soon, traders will be able to browse the marketplace, compare strategies, allocate capital, and automate them through Kronix.
Paper trading is getting close.
You open Kronix and see three quant strategies.
A: returned 42%, but had a 24% max drawdown.
B: returned 28% with a 9% max drawdown.
C: returned 21%, but has the longest track record and the lowest volatility.
You can only allocate to one. Which one are you picking?
There are professional quants running strategies most traders will never get access to.
At the same time, thousands of traders want systematic strategies without spending years learning how to build them.
We think those two groups should be much closer together.
That’s what we’re building with Kronix.
