@HumbleFlow Dark ages means there isn’t much recorded history. It’s metaphorically dark in terms of what we know about the world. It doesn’t mean it was literally dark 😂.
@slackkejakke I think that’s more a fall out of our trains being incapable of running on time. 9/10 your ticket for the 1135 train will be for the train that’s coming in at 1139.
@iRunfastXC@D62609218118495@stevemagness The funny thing is, most people don’t even care. But because they feel the need to militantly defend it (without even being challenged), that’s what makes people respond.
@D62609218118495@stevemagness I love the people who post a picture after their parkrun with the caption, “Yes, I wear a vest for a 5k. I need water!” No, you literally don’t.
@clark_aviation Look at where their feet are. Their arms have to cross over, so take a load of pictures of anyone marching and you’ll get a photo of them wheelbarrowing. Also, none of them are tick-tocking. Feel free to post a video of you doing drill to show us how it’s done 😊.
@jjack_95 They also can’t pronounce “shire” right in any English place names. But they do pronounce it correctly when saying “New Hampshire”. What’s up with that?!
@FaccsNLogic@UltrasPodcast He’s using, “he’d lose in a boxing match” to insinuate that the guy is weak. Which is total bollocks. It’s such a pointless thing people say. It would be like posting a picture of a professional cyclists and saying, “yeah but he’d be rubbish at kicking a football.” Right, okay
@FaccsNLogic@UltrasPodcast No, I’m just saying the OP is right on a technicality. What’s he’s saying is, “yeah he looks buff, but kids could kick his ass.” So I’m rebutting that by saying, yes it’s true, but only in the strict confines of a sport. So the notion that he’s all show and no go is false
@UltrasPodcast@FaccsNLogic Yeah you’re right. If they actually had a fight he’d flatten them in seconds. You ever seen a rugby player get into a fight with a boxer? The boxer rarely wins.
