@nestapendragon Initially it was bad news for limited events, but a replacement pack is required if you open a god pack (for competitive events at least, for FNM/prerelease it’s up to the event organizer).
Why that rule change wasn’t included in the WOTC statement is beyond me.
@ConDrei Been trying to follow the J league here in the US and there’s basically no coverage. I can’t watch my team (Sanga) unless the J League YouTube channel decides to show the game. Is this place really the only way to get any coverage of the games?
@Boxy_FT Because every time the GOP tries to pass election ID they do it in the most racist way possible. Look up the 2014 North Carolina 4th circuit decision. The judges overseeing the case said they targeted ID rules to stop black people from voting “with almost surgical precision”
@PhillyGov I thought about this recently. Philly is criminally underused in games. There’s Homefront & a non-explorable area of Assassin’s Creed 3 & that’s about it.
The Philly area even has architecturally distinct zones (center city, south philly, university city, Manayunk, main line…)
@TheTrinketMage I put it in my King of the Oathbreakers deck because I’m almost always passing with mana up. It’s pretty good there, but I do think many commander players are vastly overrating the card.
@nestapendragon I can’t even begin to imagine what you’re going through, and I know we’re Twitter strangers but you seem like a genuine and thoughtful person. Whatever dark cloud seems to hang over everyone no doubt is outshined by the warmth and kindness you bring to those around you.
@nestapendragon Maybe if other formats didn’t cost an arm and a leg to build a competitively viable deck they’d have more attendance. Commander is not only cheaper (depending on playgroup) but also extremely proxy friendly, even in cEDH circles
