Tough restriction on int’l student athletes for sure when it comes to #NIL, and it can only be addressed by Congress since it deals with immigration/visa status. Int’l athletes can only earn active NIL money outside of the US, and even promoting an int’l deal in US can be risky.
My go-to person for all things NIL is the brilliant @LukeFedlam. I wonder what he thinks of the restrictions on Aaliyah as a Canadian citizen when it comes to NIL benefits. #NIL#NCAAW
