@MishaTeplitskiy@skdh One thing to note: this kind of result is highly informative and interesting, but AI is changing fast, how people use it is changing fast, and there’s a vast number of ways one can use AI. “X happens when you use AI” is contingent on shifting sands!
@MishaTeplitskiy I love this research. I have a little bit of a hard time with the conclusions. ESP the nature paper seemed to be too down on pivoting, and treated the issue as if it had settled things rather than opened up discussion. Not a fan of that angle. It was a good study, regardless.
@MishaTeplitskiy Also, your cite count should be divided by a co-author count. The fact that this isn’t already factored into the system slightly baffles me
@paulnovosad Yes and for every one tweet like this there’s two anti-tweets where the reviewers talk about reviewing your paper with AI. Anti because that’s what they do and could tweet but would never dare!
