@F1Techy You have a fundamental misunderstanding.
If the battery recharge limit is increased - teams will utilise tactics such a LICO and super clipping to keep it charged.
An artificial ceiling on harvesting means the battery will be "full" without the need for lifting into corners.
@RoyalBlueStuey@DanielMulhern14 Again Palace could've said no we aren't selling him. Guehi was happy to stay. Liverpool don't presume a right to sign anybody. No one else was trying to sign him so of course Liverpool will seek to do it on their terms because otherwise he goes for nothing.
Newcastle fans turning on anyone who gave Isak well wishes is rather hilarious. Do these players know something we don't ๐ค. Never keep a player who doesn't want to be there lads. No one's bigger than the club!
@RoyalBlueStuey@DanielMulhern14 Worth noting Palace fans are furious with their window conduct. It's quite evident their deadline day was a mess. They could've told us no on Guehi at 9am yesterday. They allowed the situation that developed to occur. They weren't obliged to even entertain a sale.
@RoyalBlueStuey@DanielMulhern14 You can agree Palace needed to get a replacement while also agreeing Guehi was mistreated here. They aren't mutually exclusive. He was in Liverpool gear doing media duties. It was essentially done and rug pulled at the last amen. That's just not right.
@RoyalBlueStuey@DanielMulhern14 I don't think it's irrelevant but I think it's very irresponsible to allow a player undergo a medical when you don't have the full intention of allowing the deal to happen. It would sound like Guehi is extremely unhappy too. Very messy.
@RoyalBlueStuey@DanielMulhern14 That's just not on Liverpool though. Don't release a player for a medical (essentially telling him he can leave) and then pull the plug. Palace are lucky it's a gentleman like Guehi because many others would've justifiably kicked up a fuss.
@RoyalBlueStuey@DanielMulhern14 1 - We put the bid in two weeks ago. Parish is a tough negotiator, blame him it ran so long not us.
2- Palace released him for a medical without the replacement confirmed and then pulled the plug. Imagine you're Guehi right now? He didn't deserve that.
@DanielMulhern14 Ye look as I said I completely understand Glasner's annoyance but the fact is if Guehi wasn't such a true gent he'd have gotten the move. And after this debacle you can be sure Glasner will be looking to exit next summer too.
@LFCTransferNRS I think that's very unfair
We approached palace two weeks ago and they pissed about. They've then allowed him to do a medical and then pulled the rug. Glasner got his way but it was the height of unprofessional.
Sky sports having a live reporter at Brentford saying Wissa is likely to stay while Romano has given it the here we go is the biggest reflection of how far their sources have fallen in terms of transfer news. #DeadlineDay
Sources have stressed that the signing of Nick Woltemade ends the search for Callum Wilson's replacement. Nothing has changed with Isak for now. But surely Liverpool will return with a second bid. A decision will need to be made when they do #nufc#lfc
Furthermore "we do not foresee these conditions being met" just translates as Newcastle admit there's a 0% chance they land 2 strikers and are desperately clinging to the idea he'll do a 180 and come crawling back to them. Handled like amateurs.
Honestly at this stage, move on sign a talented winger and come back for Isak in January when Newcastle have a bit of cop on and end up having to sell for 60-70 million less because he's not kicked a ball for months. Calling him out publicly is just moronic.
@stevecheek75@NUFC_Sean_ I'm only going off what's been widely reported by respected journalists. As for the transfer request, I don't think people realize if you hand in an official transfer request you forgo certain financial bonuses in your contract. I'm not certain that's the case but widely suspect.
@CharleyFarley50@NUFC_Sean_ But they paid a lower fee. It's a negotiation. Leipzig could've said no we'll only sell you to Newcastle because they're paying more, but United were able to convince them to do the deal.
