@mtaibbi Maybe you can do one but not both? I'm also kinda uncomfortable with Biden still being President, but way less so than when he was also running for office again. Seems reasonable to me that he's up for one but not both at his age.
@jeffcosheriffco How about some context? You posted imaging like this earlier, so which way did it spread compared to the imaging earlier today? These updates are good (and keep doing it!) just help us understand. ๐
@juliusvolz I don't know if sjcobb who worked on it a ton is on Twitter (or I'd tag him) but I could probably connect you if you want some ideas on how to do it. (Or it may still be the case in Perses). He's also just generally an ECharts wizard from a lot of past experience. ๐
@juliusvolz Lol, I feel your pain. I _think_ but am not 100% sure that in Perses, we did ECharts but bailed out to a custom tooltip implementation (in React) for perf reasons. I know we spent a lot of time early in the project trying different tooltip things because it's so important.
@jessfraz It's pretty unopinionated on that front which is both good and bad. Perses (an OSS project I've been involved with for awhile) is using it if you want one example to check out: https://t.co/iwUlK5JBIv
@jessfraz Big fan of Playwright (we're starting to migrate from Cypress on relatively large UI codebase that I work on in private). If you're looking for examples on how to structure things, I found examples pretty lacking out in public.
@juliusvolz@tailwindcss I'm also old and kinda a curmudgeon, so take that FWIW. ๐ Structuring around components (e.g. React, Vue, etc.) help, but you still have long class lists and that had me feeling like I was missing something (vs say CSS modules or something else scoped to the component).
@juliusvolz@tailwindcss I've been using it for a project and while it's fun/easy to write, I had your same concerns about reading and editing. I can see why it's been so popular these last few years, but I'm still a little skeptical I'd want to maintain something built with it.
Hard to believe I did the first React UI prototype for this almost two years ago. Congrats to @nexucis and Antoine on the big unveil at PromCon and thanks for being so great to work with over the last couple years. Excited to see where this goes!
@kellabyte Not sure I saw the argument you did, but if we did see the same one, I read it as more about "the power MS still holds over open source .NET efforts that aren't from MS" and less about IoC containers specifically. Just happens to be about IoC containers (again) this time. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@editingemily As an older millennial, this feels spot on but there's a lot of millennials! I remember Sandy Hook vividly but I was out of college at that point. Can't imagine being in High School then. Guy is really underestimating the amount of "political" (formative) moments.
@editingemily As a (fellow?) Colorado transplant, Columbine has been really interesting/sad to talk about with folks that grew up here like my wife and it left such a big imprint on the state.
As people who were excited to see the Weird Al movie, the dumbest thing about watching this movie with my wife is that Roku is a streaming company that doesn't seem to understand streaming movies. Getting commercials every 15 mins is pretty awful. The movie itself is great!
@editingemily I'm repeating this to my wife (an attorney) and she's like "that's really bad, do you know which one it is"? Wondering if we'll also get to vote on them since some of it varies by county (we're in Denver).
@benofben I have an (older) Logitech webcam, Blue mic, and an LG monitor, but I run it all into a hub before running it into my Mac (via USB-C) and have had good luck with it. The hub is from Vava if you want to try that route.
