We never denied Arians worship God, they recognise Jesus as a Prophet (like Muslims) and claim the God of Abraham. There's similarities.

This being a major controversy and among some of the most significant because of wording.

The power and structure of the Church either remains uncorrupted or is corrupted, and if it's the latter there'd be no aim to reconcile.
