@celticCSL On youth development, system is stacked against all Scottish clubs post Brexit given the pittances from the compensation fee tribunals. The argument of Celtic should be able to retain youth talent…Scottish clubs cannot compete with EPL (or even championship clubs) on wages.
@celticCSL This just isn’t a fair example though. Benfica currently (and until 27-28) do not operate in a league where broadcasting revenues are distributed evenly. They negotiate their broadcasting rights on a bilateral basis w/o having to share. Portugal also 2x the population of Scotland

There’s a reason why the club hasn’t put this statement on any of their socials. It’s absolute madness - burning the house down from the top.
Two points on Celtic’s financial results - one is that a football club paying £11m in tax (on revenues of £144m) means it is being run v.inefficiently and second…this completely contradicts the statement made by the board this month around compliance with UEFA PSRs.
Celtic make profits of £46m on revenues of £144m. Club finished season with over £77m in the bank. Player sale profits £31m.
I’m sure the board are delighted, fans…less so.
We are absolutely delighted that Bath & North East Somerset Council has today approved our planning application for a new state-of-the-art stadium at our historic home, The Rec.

@rory_fans Completely agree, shoots a 70 today and he’s definitely still in it. He also left about 6-7 approaches/putts out there yesterday which was a good sign.
Chelsea getting through PSR by selling the women’s team to themselves shows the absurdity of the Premier League clubs’ self-governance at the wrong time
Nine clubs had no issue with this so a rule change didn’t get through

Only conclusion is if they're not in breach they must be right at the cap. Problem with transparency is if you name players and their current wage it completely removes their negotiating position when looking to renew a contract / agree terms with a new club.
With the news on Santi Carreras leaving Gloucester to go to Bath. Do fans want transparency on how much the deal is? How much is Santi worth. And how can Bath afford him.
Again, like every other sport.
