@NARRockets Exciting Saturday! Davud and his school teammates got to test fly their TARC rockets. We got to meet and say Hello to our very own NAR President and Mr. Trip Barber who is looking forward to welcome us all to the 2025 The American Rocketry Challenge Competition.
The Innovation Lab is Davud’s favorite place at school, there’s nothing quite like this to explore rocketry, astronomy, 3D printing, Drones and hopefully soon aviation.

This is a huge day for @X.
My documentary, Cancer: A Food-Borne Illness, is finally here.
It is only on this platform that I am able to release a film that challenges big food conglomerates and mainstream health claims without fear of censorship.
Here is the story of how I, an 18 year old girl, spent 2 years relentlessly searching for the for the true cause of cancer.
Here's what I found:
Our FSA Satellite Team's fall trip to Bucharest was a blast! Collaborating with our sister school, they dived into satellite tech, explored a ground station, and even intercepted real satellites. Here's to more space adventures!
THE CHARACTER THEME OF SEPTEMBER IS CURIOSITY AT FULTON SCIENCE ACADEMY
Curiosity encourages openness to innovative ideas and perspectives and fuels collaboration, exploration, and deeper learning and understanding.
The Remarkable Story of Marie Curie
Among the many stories that encapsulate the essence of curiosity, Marie Curie's life and accomplishments are especially compelling. Her pioneering work in the field of radioactivity has had a lasting impact on science and medicine.
Young Marie: A Love for Learning
Born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1867, Marie (originally named Maria Skłodowska) showed an early passion for learning. Despite facing gender-based discrimination and various obstacles, her unyielding curiosity and determination led her to continue her education in the sciences.
The Road to Discovery
Curie moved to Paris to study at the University of Paris (Sorbonne), where she met and married Pierre Curie. Together, they embarked on groundbreaking research on radioactivity. Her tireless investigations eventually led to the discovery of the elements polonium and radium, earning her not one, but two Nobel Prizes—in both Physics and Chemistry.
A Legacy Beyond the Lab
Marie Curie's contributions went beyond her laboratory discoveries. She was also deeply involved in applying her research to medical treatment, particularly in the development of X-ray technology. Her curiosity had real-world applications that have saved countless lives.
The Lesson in Her Story
Marie Curie's life serves as a powerful example that curiosity can break down barriers and open doors to new worlds of understanding. Her inquisitive nature wasn’t merely an academic exercise; it led to advancements that have had a significant impact on humanity.
Let's embrace Marie Curie's own words: "Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas." Let us all cultivate our inherent curiosity, search for answers, and find joy in the discovery process. Like Curie, may we always be fueled by the desire to comprehend and marvel at the wonders of our universe.

Early in your career, I think the most important thing is that you build a reputation for:
1. Reliability
2. Figuring it out
Both are entirely free and don’t require any talent or luck.
Just show up, do the work, and get the job done.
People will literally fight over you.
Happy Friday! An earlier post mention the Top Thunder program, an adaptive rec program for athletes with special needs. If you’d like to help coach, please email [email protected]. More info to come!!
@KenanSenerEdu He was so excited about this opportunity. For his Passion Project he built his first two stage model rocket which he got to launch with SoAR (Southern Area Rocketry).
In a world filled with constant change, one thing remains timeless: the importance of character and values education. Our children, with their innocent hearts and eager minds, are ready to embrace these life-shaping lessons.
Why is this education crucial? Research from the Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology (Smith, 2020) reveals that character and values education significantly enhances a child's social and emotional development. It fosters empathy, integrity, and resilience, equipping them to navigate life's challenges.
Children are like sponges, soaking up the world around them. It's our duty to ensure they soak up the right values. As Albert Einstein wisely said, "Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think." Teaching them values is like planting seeds that will grow into compassionate, responsible, and morally sound adults.
Think about it - when we teach honesty, we shape truth-tellers. When we instill empathy, we create caring citizens. When we nurture resilience, we empower future leaders who can weather any storm.
Character and values education isn't just a lesson in the classroom; it's a lifelong journey. It's about showing kindness, practicing honesty, and leading by example. It's about teaching our children not only what is right but why it's right.
Let's commit to this vital education. Let's nurture these innocent hearts and curious minds. Together, we can raise a generation that embodies the universal values we hold dear. Let's give them the tools they need to create a brighter, more compassionate world.

If we were all truly a "little autistic," then surely it would feel easier for autistic people to fit in . Saying we are all a "little autistic" minimizes the daily struggles of autistic people.
5 Ways to Win Today:
1. Control what you can control.
2. Let go of what you can’t.
3. Replace fear with faith.
4. Speak truth to the lies.
5. Believe the best is yet to come.
Compassion is a stress-reducer, & based on my own experience it appears backed by behavioral science. Empathy not only creates support but also fosters a healthier environment for both the giver and the recipient of compassion. #Compassion #BehavioralScience #Empathy #StressReduction #bcba
