@MHiesboeck The whole incentive to run a node is to collect fees. We don't even know of Bitcoin can run on fees and it has actual transactions. It's so stupid i can't even.
@DesheShai Do you think that iteration increases the likelihood of bugs occurring, or is more likely to patch existing bugs? The idea of the first implementation being the most secure doesn't ring true to me. I assume that things get more secure overtime with hard forks and code scrutiny.
@Davincij15 I'm in crypto to be excited about the future and not stuck in the past. Innovation and iteration are key to this and so is taking risks. We get nowhere getting stuck in historical ruts. The trilemma will be solved by developers writing lines of code, not being idle.
@Davincij15 Iteration on an engineering project increases security and is more likely to patch rogue bugs than trusting the current protocol is good. If innovation is not your thing, than bitcoin can be.
