Ranked changes and TH18 meta

The Clash of Clans team has shared some upcoming changes for ranked mode.

- Fixing issue with some players incorrectly seeing demotion warnings
- Increase promo/demo percentages in certain leagues
- Reduce required battle count in highest leagues to prevent burnout
- Adjust difficulty modifiers

The team has also heard feedback about the shift in viable strategies at TH18 due to mechanical changes (TH no longer being classed as a defensive building) and certain troops not having a new level at TH18.

More details about their views on that can be seen in the original post below:

The Clan Games rewards for January 2026 have been announced!

A Rune of Builder Elixir (Tier 5), a Book of Building (Tier 6) and a Rune of Gold (Tier 6) are on offer.

Once again, the individual points cap is 10k points, good news for smaller clans who will be able to reach higher tiers with less players.

If your clan unlocks all 6 tiers and you earn 4k points, you can pick all of those 3 items mentioned above.

[Clash of Clans @ClashofClans]

We have entered a maintenance break to roll out some balance changes and fix a few pesky bugs.
Fixes include an issue where Super Valkyries rage was affecting all the troops. We are making sure it works as intended, and we fixed the sharing army links so they include only valid Troops and Spells.
We expect the maintenance to last around 1 hour and replays won't be valid.
Regarding the balance changes we're introducing, we will listen to your feedback and make sure we make the relevant changes in future updates.
