In 2014 our great debate was about few thousands immigrants. In 2022 we accepted about 2 millions (mostly Ukrainians). And it was

Previously hundred thousands visa were issued and control was mostly theoretical.
And even now this huge surge off deportation is like few thousands a year - not even close to 1% of immigrants.

@johnloeber You draw the line in place where people don't want to live their anymore. Not everyone wants to live in Manhattan,some people will prefer commuting from suburbs.
Also there are a lot of reasonable lines that you can draw and are not just detached houses only.

@metakognita W ciągu ostatnich kilku lat zarobki nam wzrosły dwukrotnie. Mamy z czego spłacać.
Ale ciężko liczyć na to, że za kolejne kilka lat znów tak wzrosną. No chyba że ktoś wierzy, że w ciągu 10 lat przegonimy pod względem zamożności USA.

@Ike_Saul MY bet is that in few years it will be hard to imagine how to work without AI. In the same moment a lot of people will cry how they lost all their savings in "AI bubble".
