🌌 What if the Milky Way is floating inside a gigantic cosmic void?
Astronomers are finding growing evidence that our galaxy may lie within an enormous region nearly 2 billion light-years across containing much less matter than the cosmic average.
If true, this giant "void" could help explain the long-standing Hubble tension—the mysterious mismatch between different measurements of how fast the Universe is expanding. With less nearby matter, gravity would be weaker, making nearby galaxies appear to recede faster without the need for entirely new physics.
If future observations confirm this idea, it could reshape our understanding of the Universe, showing that its largest structures are far more uneven than scientists once believed.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday kicked off a new chapter for Indian Railways by flagging off the nation's very first hydrogen-powered passenger train in Haryana. The launch officially pushes India into an exclusive global club of just five nations—Germany, France, Sweden, China, and India—currently operating commercial trains on green hydrogen fuel cells. The 10-coach train set made its debut on the 89-kilometre Jind–Sonipat broad-gauge corridor, a journey it will cover in about two hours with halts at 14 stations. Aimed at everyday passengers, ticket fares have been capped between ₹5 and ₹25.

When the markets collapsed, Francois Paul Journe needed an "entry-level" model to keep his small manufacture moving, so in 2009 he built a time only watch in a metal nobody else wanted to work with. Tantalum: blue grey, brutally hard, and so difficult to machine that most brands simply won't touch it. Then he gave it the most difficult dial imaginable featuring layer upon layer of hand polished blue lacquer with a failure rate that would terrify an accountant, producing a mirror surface that reads navy, electric blue, or nearly black depending on the light. It's the reason no photograph of a Chronometre Bleu ever quite agrees with another. Inside is the caliber 1304, wound by hand and built from solid 18k rose gold like every modern Journe movement, twin barrels delivering 56 hours of stable power.

The attainable Journe quickly became the most hunted piece in the catalog. He built it to survive a crisis. Collectors turned it into a classic.
