@DriveSmart_IN High time we take driver education seriously in our country. Imagine this with new HMV drivers as well. Some even old drivers, they don't want to learn the skill of driving just learn to release the clutch and start driving with tons of load and passengers.
@praveengirotra Vehicles turning over on Nice road is not a new thing. High time driver training is taken seriously. Nice road doesn't even have ambulances on standby for emergencies given the number of accidents it experiences.
@nextminutenews7 First aid training should be mandatory at schools. This is ridiculous, people do the same to road accident victims, they might kill or injure the victim permanently just by trying to help.
@DriveSmart_IN A long time ago someone had told me, when avoiding obstacles on the road go in the opposite direction to the obstacle's path or pass it from behind not from the front.
@DriveSmart_IN@motordave2 Even in this mayhem there are always warning signs, if only drivers could use them to be cautious and plan who has/takes the right of way. I've seen the same situations on snowy days in other countries. Lane marking disappear but drivers are more cautious and aware of such signs.
@sumanthchandar@arunkmurthy@BMTC_BENGALURU Don't worry, it's not going to change. It's a system where repercussions are absent that has promoted this behaviour. The maximum they'll encounter is an argument, nobody cares about a damaged bus. He won't pay for your damages and the 3rd party insurance doesn't work.
@DriveSmart_IN Statistically most accident in India happen on straight roads. So infrastructure is a small problem. The problem lies in untrained drivers.
