This is a clip of Shaykh Waleed Al-Meneesi, the president of the Islamic University of Minnesota.

In this clip, he explains that every field of knowledge has ten introductory points that are studied when one begins studying that particular field.

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Sabban رحمه الله gathered these ten introductory points into the following lines of poetry:

إنَّ مبادي كل فنٍّ عشرة
الحدُّ والموضوع ثم الثمرة
ونسبة وفضله والواضع
والاِسم لاستمداد حكمُ الشارع
مسائل والبعضُ بالبعضِ اكْتفى
ومن درى الجميع حاز الشرفا

In these lines, he mentions that the introductory points of every field of knowledge are ten:

1. The definition
2. The subject — What does this field discuss?
3. The benefit — What benefit do we gain from studying it?
4. Its nisbah— It’s from what
5. Its virtue — What is the virtue of studying it, such as evidence from the Qur’an or Sunnah regarding its importance.
6. Its founder/author — Who first established or formulated this field?
7. Its name
8. Its source — From where is this knowledge derived?
9. Its ruling — What is the ruling of the Sharīʿah concerning this field?
10. Its issues/topics — What are the main matters and questions discussed within it?

Therefore, it is common for scholars, when beginning a book on a particular field of knowledge, to mention these introductory points before delving into the actual subject.

At the end of the poem, the poet mentions that some scholars may mention only some of these introductory points rather than all ten. So, a scholar may mention three or four of them instead of all ten.

LOWKEY AND AHMED KABALLO DEBUNK DJ VLAD’S CLAIMS ABOUT ISRAEL

In an excerpt Lowkey and Ahmed Kaballo react to DJ Vlad's parroting of extreme pro-Isr*el talking points, historical revisionism, and atrocity propaganda.

The duo responded to a clip from Vlad's interview with rapper Oschino where the former attempted to justify the subjugation of P*lestine, arguing that it "was never a country" and claiming biblical precedence for J*wish ownership of the land. 

Sovereign Media's Ahmed Kaballo exposed Vlad's ideological contradictions, noting that - despite the latter's reliance on a religious land claim - he, like the founder of modern Zi*nism Theodor Herzl, is a proud atheist.

Lowkey also deconstructed the myths espoused by Vlad, contrasting his obsession with weaponising phrases like "from the river to the sea" against the actual g*nocidal reality on the ground, alongside highlighting UN Resolution 194 which outlines the P*lestinian right of return and how Isr*el has consistently denied it. 

Furthermore, when Vlad attempted to deflect by recycling unverified mass r*pe atrocity claims regarding October 7, Lowkey tore down his arguments, citing a key prosecutor in Isr*el admitting that there are no complainants for the claim of r*pe. 

Lowkey also highlighted documented findings from the UN and human rights monitors exposing the systematic r*pe of P*lestinians in Isr*eli prisons - including through the use of dogs.
