@PhaylnxJoe@Mrgunsngear Not a good idea. The law itself as it’s written should be challenged. We have a 1 A for a reason. We don’t want hate speech laws. You don’t want people going to jail because someone hurt your feelings. Who decides what is offensive and what is acceptable?
@krassenstein She may be an ass hole but calling someone a bad word shouldn’t make you a criminal. The same way you are allowed to say what you want as long as you don’t threaten/assault someone. It goes both ways. Enjoy your opinions and the freedom you have to express them.
@boxer4luvr@Mrgunsngear That’s why they should get rid of #3 in the law definition. It also goes against 1A. Someone who lives there should challenge it in court. Just my opinion.
@realtalktruthD@Mrgunsngear There is no such thing as hate speech only speech that you hate under the 1A. If she were to threaten someone then that’s assault & is entirely different than “hate speech” Being a hateful person without a call of action isn’t against the law either it just makes you an ass hole
August 18, 2026, Floridians have a chance to remove a real estate developer from the Agriculture Commissioner’s Office.
Under Wilton Simpson’s claim that he “mostly” only developed downtown Dade City, one commenter pointed out: “He’s also rezoned about 1,000,000 acres and then sold it to developers.”
His company, Belly Wadding LLC, submitted amendments to Pasco County’s Comprehensive Plan allowing up to 117 single-family homes in the Northeast Pasco Rural Protection Area. He rezoned agricultural land for the Hill Top Vistas subdivision on Happy Hill Rd, about 700 feet north of SR 52.
@WiltonSimpson is developing more land than he claims to have saved.
