By implementing these tools, students can express themselves in a way that is less intimidating and friendly. They can add audio, pictures or videos sharing about themselves safely and responsibly.
Storytelling becomes a strong part of developing the identities of students in the classroom. #Storybird is a free website where students create multimodal stories about their lives, families and community while engaging their audience.
Just as important as it is for educators to teach students how to use #ChatGPT, it is equally important that they teach citing, paraphrasing and the dangers of plagiarism.
Here is a quick example of how ChatGPT can be used as a model or reference with just a few words. In this case, this can be a great reference for teachers to find examples or for students to have references of a compare/contrast paragraph.
#ChatGPT has caused some caution and controversy in the education sector; however, seeing it as a resource can be transformative for students struggling with writing, language development or articulating vocabulary.
In addition, #Geotastic offers other games such as a guess the country based on the flag showed. The user receives multiple opportunities to get the correct answer. This is a great resources for students who might be learning about world geography.

This past week, I've been learning about apps, websites and overall resources for English Language Learners, but thankfully, many of these can be beneficial for all students, including diverse learners. #technologyintheclassroom#englishlanguagelearners
Using the SAMR model might be a great place to start for teachers to integrate technology AND project-based learning in specific content areas or across subjects. PBL engages students in units that they struggle in or are not totally interested in.
The SAMR Model consists of four different levels of technology integration in the classroom. The four levels are:
1. Substitution
2. Augmentation
3. Modification
4. Redefinition
I've just recently led my student to the modification level.
As students engaged in the lesson, I could hear the buzzing and refining of their ideas through their conversation with their partners, which could not be achieved to the same extend as simply writing an essay with not images or interactive tools.
