Twitter has given us an avenue to communicate with and get responses from large organisations around sustainability. Having this means of communication allows us as teachers to integrate #sustainability into our classrooms and schools more efficiently and beneficially #UoNTeach

Here's an interesting way on collecting rubbish in our waterways. Introducing the Seabin, Created by the @Seabin_project for a more #sustainable future. What a great idea, more local marinas should invest in a few of these. #UoNTeach This is what the Seabin can collect each year

Here is something new that I didn't know. The Green froggy means that the product is 100% recycled.

@MelissaWastell @MelissaWastell what a great idea, thank you for sharing. I love the idea of implementing a school garden. The creation of a school garden can also link to the unit of #sustainability and hope to inspire some students to create a sustainable future for themselves.

Check out at this awesome company in Geelong Aus, where they aim to minimise negative environmental impact through upcycling reusable and interesting items to prevent it from ending up in landfill. These items are re-purposed into craft supplies. https://t.co/tr7wNhd01n #UoNTeach
