Courtney Dauwalter set the Western States 100 course record of 15:29:34 three weeks ago.

Today, she set a course record at the Hardrock 100 in 26:14:08, for a combined time of 41:43:42.

This resets the overall record for this double of 42:12:43 (Jeff Browning, 2016). #HR100

@SageCanaday I’m pretty sure part of the reason the field is small is because of the agreement they have with the park - they have to keep impact on the grounds minimal to help preserve it

One runner, after finishing his loop and dropping, cooked an egg burrito while showering. Like, took a camp stove and skillet into the shower, cooked the eggs, etc., and ate the tortilla. In the shower. #BM100

Dear @RunComPod, as fellow runners on Parkland Walk, might you be willing to help spread the word? The council are trying to cut down the ancient hairy oak at the Stanhope Road entrance. Protestors are there today to stop it - the more people who go and in support, the better. 🙏

@HamandHigh please get down to Parkland Walk - there’s a protest to stop the unnecessary cutting down of an ancient tree known as Hairy Tree. We urgently need to spread the word, this could happen today or tomorrow.
