Happy that the neXtProt set of manually curated function predictions for 239 uncharacterized proteins could be used to evaluate DeepGO-SE, a new powerful AI-based protein function predictor developed by @coolmaksat at KAUST!

Chi-Biotech and neXtProt joined their forces and are happy to deliver a mirror site of neXtProt in China, https://t.co/rMuaAm0ZrP, which should considerably improve the usability of neXtProt for all our users located in China and other Asian countries! @ISBSIB@hupo_org
How can Next Generation Proteomics help us predict the functions of the ~1500 human genes that remain totally uncharacterized?
Happy to exchange ideas with #BSPREUPA2023 attendees tomorrow at poster 146 !

Poster presented at @imig2023 on the molecular pathway of Pleural Mesotelioma in @WikiPathways, constructed by the community! The poster shows uses of the pathway for omics data interpretation, and integration with other databases such as @neXtProt_news . https://t.co/ObizoS6GUd
The Proceedings of SWAT4HCLS2023 have just been published! Our Data in use paper (https://t.co/4QcWzcQfnh) describes query NXQ_00300, that highlights 44 uncharacterized human proteins potentially involved in brain function than can be studied in Drosophila melanogaster!
Many thanks to the organizers for this great opportunity to exchange fresh ideas on how to better characterize the human proteome in the frame of in the HPP Grand challenge!

How can we use SPARQL to help deciphering the functions of the ~1500 human genes that remain uncharacterized? Happy to exchange ideas at my poster U-2 at #SWAT4LS 2023 Basel ! @hupo_org@ISBSIB@SWAT4HCLS
Want to know more about missing, uncharacterized, novel, or disease-related human proteins? Have a look at the 2022 Report on the Human Proteome from the Human Proteome Project @hupo_org !

One week left until the registration deadline for the #EuBIC2023 Developers Meeting, and only a few spots are left!
Were you holding out of registering until the hackathon projects were selected? Good news! Take a look at the final list on https://t.co/0zl5QN8OT5, and register 😉
Do you SPARQL? The RDF model for the human protein data in neXtProt has been completely revised.

Super happy to deliver a keynote about the dark human proteome at #CASSS#MassSpec2022 in Long Beach, CA! Looking forward to discussions & fresh ideas on how to tackle the understudied human proteins from an amazing audience from both industry & academia!

At neXtProt we are manually mining the scientific literature to predict function.
Let’s join forces to complete the human functional proteome!

Want to know if your proteins of interest have already been observed by MS? use neXtProt SPARQL! For a nice example, see here: https://t.co/dGCG3LFZ3O @neXtProt_news
Thanks to the undergraduate students in biomedical sciences @UNIGEnews@lydie_lane, 80 entries now have function predictions - that's a big step forward! @hupo_org
@EuPAProteomics is hosting an online job fair on at its ECR day on 28 June, which will feature three highly interesting employers. Today we announce @PreOmics, the others to come in next days! Register for the free ECR day here: https://t.co/Xrt57Hs3Ab
Happy to join the 25th C-HPP workshop tomorrow in Vilamoura, looking forward to discuss how neXtProt can contribute to the HPP Grand project ! @hupo_org@neXtProt_news
@pastramimachine Integration of results from different tools will probably be key! We've tried this approach @nextprot_news for a number of human proteins of unknown function, maybe that could help? If you launch a challenge, we'd be happy to take part! https://t.co/HmQqFS4Ggh
