Even with the leaked heads up, today’s #SCOTUS decision to overturn #RoeVWade is devastating, heartbreaking, and infuriating. We have revoked a constitutional right from millions of Americans today, so what is next? Time for new constitutional amendments? #Dobbs
Days later, this still feels like an unfathomable loss for all of us who loved and admired @urvashivaid. Sending love and comfort to the countless individuals who were touched by her tireless commitment to a better world. https://t.co/Cmt8CokRaZ
Big news! My friend @CarlyDHare is leaving @CHANGEPhil. While I will miss working with her daily, I'm excited for this next chapter and to be able to step in as Interim National Director. We've got a great team and exciting things in pipeline ... more to come! #philanthropy

"Ben [Garcia] brings the experience, knowledge, and vision we need to lead our museum to our opening in 2024 and beyond." @LGBTQ_Museum https://t.co/OM0VmZwAHk
Ben Garcia joins the American L.G.B.T.Q.+ Museum from Ohio History Connection. He wants to create a “multicultural, multilingual experience of queerness, L.G.B.T.Q.+ identity.” https://t.co/3jxrnfNkiX
Big news! Since 2017, I've been working with an amazing group of leaders to make the forthcoming @LGBTQ_Museum a reality. Today, I'm thrilled to announce Ben Garcia as our first Executive Director! https://t.co/guqiD2alYI #lgbtq#museum
Hard to believe, but @CHANGEPhil is already gearing up for the 2022 Diversity Among Philanthropic Professionals (DAPP) Survey! Sign-up to participate until 3/11. The #2022DAPP Survey will run from 4/11-5/20. For more info & to sign up, visit https://t.co/tsBX7gigoO #philanthropy
The total dollars for racial justice grassroots organizing never exceeded $90 million in any year @RJGrantmakers tracked.
The annual budget of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is more than $100 million.
In other words, less than 10% of all funding is for racial equity, and only 1% of that is for grassroots BIPOC organizing like #M4BL and #NoDAPL. For every $1,000 foundations spend, just $1 is for grassroots BIPOC organizing.
"...data is a language that philanthropy understands and can help move funders...we're in the business in this PSO landscape of changing hearts and minds to increase resources, to make meaningful change" –
