May is Lyme Awareness Month. Please share because you care!
The ticks are especially active in 2026, and we are seeing many examples of influencers and main stream media providing terrible advice that increases your chance of chronic illness.
Transmission of Lyme and other bacterial, viral and parasitic infections can take place in a matter of MINUTES, particularly if the tick partially fed before biting you (so pathogens are in the ticks saliva) or if the tick is not removed properly.
There is no minimum attachment time for transmission of a Lyme disease infection. The arbitrary 24-48 hour minimum attachment presumption is extremely misleading and can have life-altering consequences if an infection is not treated early.

MAY IS LYME AWARENESS MONTH: Only an estimated 1 in 50 actual cases of Lyme disease are counted in states that the CDC considers to be "low-incidence"
Key takeaway: Traditional surveillance dramatically undercounts Lyme disease in "low-incidence states", while insurance claims reveal a much larger burden.
Sadly, Beth Coen, the mother of #Jaguars head coach @LiamCoen, tragically lost her battle with chronic Lyme disease at the age of 46. May she rest in eternal peace.
This heartbreaking story highlights the perils of inadequate early treatment and the lack of effective remedies for late stage, persistent #Lyme disease. Patients often experience tremendous pain, fatigue, and psychiatric symptoms such as depression. We must better support patients to avoid such tragic outcomes.
The @Jaguars have supported #Lymedisease awareness in the past by taking the @LymeChallenge #takeabiteoutoflyme numerous years.

Mounting evidence is backing up what I've been saying for years now: That other infections can reactivate bartonella, which has major implications for Long Covid patients.

It was 15 yrs ago that my life changed forever.
If I could’ve given my younger self a message, back then, it’d be:
You’re not defined by what’s broken, & most of what’s broken can be healed.
You’re not a victim. You have agency over your mind & body.
You will overcome.
Wishing you @jtimberlake the best as you recover from Lyme disease. We are here to provide support and resources. Thank you for spreading much needed awareness. 💚🍋🟩

Justin Timberlake kindly supported the Lyme Disease Challenge @LymeChallenge, Take a Bite out of Lyme campaign in 2014.
In addition to profound human suffering, Lyme+ comes at a tremendous cost. 2015 Johns Hopkins study found total direct medical costs attributable to Lyme could be up to $1.3B/yr. This does NOT take into account costs associated with missed work and disability. @DOGE@DrOzCMS
What was conspicuously omitted from the recommendations? Addressing chronic infections. Nearly 500K Americans are infected each year with Lyme, up to a third of which suffer chronic symptoms per Johns Hopkins study. Ticks and other vectors also transmit Bartonella, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, RMSF, viruses, etc. Ticks can cause allergies to meat.
Considering many of these infections can be passed from mother to child in pregnancy, the impact is exponential. Children are literally born chronically ill. @MAHAAction@DrAseemMalhotra@RobertKennedyJr #MAHA

🚨 YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED🚨
I recently solicited questions from you for a top virologist/bioweapons expert and here we go…
From being wrongfully accused of the 2001 anthrax attacks to newly-appointed Senior Medical Advisor at HHS and Director of Infectious Disease Response and Preparedness at ASPR, Dr. Steven Hatfill gave me one of the most jaw-dropping interviews I’ve done to date.
A renowned virologist and bioweapons expert who also served as medical advisor during the first Trump administration, Dr. Hatfill joins me to reveal the debacle behind COVID, the vaccine, early treatments, and what really happened behind the scenes among federal officials during the early days of the pandemic.
Hatfill was wrongfully accused of the anthrax attacks in the early 2000s and later exonerated, earning a multi-million dollar settlement from the US Government. But that didn’t stop him from stepping back into the fire.
During the first Trump administration, he became a fierce and controversial champion for early COVID treatment while the mainstream medical establishment tried to silence him.
In this episode, he lays out the evidence on how COVID was bioengineered—something most virologists will not go on the record about, how early treatments were suppressed, efficacy of nasal sprays & potential for intranasal vaccine, the “toxic” spike, the truth about the vaccines, and all this. 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
We cover:
✅ COVID and its bioweapon-like features
✅ Why early treatment protocols were buried and extensive research fraud
✅ How the spike protein behaves in the body, being found in tumors and reproductive tissues
✅ Potential links between the spike and increased cancer risk
✅ Nasal sprays to help prevent COVID and potential for intranasal vaccines
✅ H5N1 and the risk of it becoming a pandemic
✅ The silencing and punishment of doctors who went against the government narrative
✅ What should have been done, and what must happen now to prevent another disaster.
This conversation pulls no punches. It's essential viewing for anyone who wants to understand what really happened, and what’s still at stake.

May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month
This post is for the ER doctor and pediatrician that told parents this week that there is "no Lyme in Florida."
Due to poor awareness and training, doctors refuse to timely prescribe antibiotics for known tick bites even with symptoms and refuse to test for Lyme because they have been taught there is no Lyme in Florida. According to the CDC, “if left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system.” There is even less awareness regarding other tick-borne infections that are prevalent in the state, including Babesia, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, and Bartonella.
The evidence is clear that Lyme disease is undercounted in Florida based on various data sources. Source in comments.

Lyme bacteria are found in:
1. Humans despite years of antibiotics
2. Mice, dogs, & monkeys despite "curative" antibiotics
3. Clean ticks after feeding on "post-Lyme patients"
And we can't even kill Lyme bacteria in the test tube with the antibiotics claimed to cure us.🧐
⚠️ Tis the season! A recent study from Dartmouth revealed that HALF of adult blacklegged ticks in the Northeast carry Lyme! This makes tick checks essential. 🕷️✅
Sadly, you'll likely never hear this from a rheumatologist.

Fascinating interview. Now let's relate the discussion to Lyme disease (once described by the brilliant, late Dr. Neil Spector as the infectious disease equivalent of cancer). Lyme knocks the immune system out of balance by impairing natural killer cells, suppressing the immune system, and causing autoimmunity. Immune suppression allows the bacteria to persist. Coupled with inflammation, this creates a ripe environment for various cancers.
Could Lyme patients benefit from Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong’s approach of (1) activating the killer and T cells to fight the infection (i.e. BioShield which was unfortunately held up by FDA Fauci/Collins); and (2) suppress the suppressor cells (i.e. the cells of the Lyme bacteria that allow it to evade/suppress the immune system).
You’re probably low in potassium and it’s wrecking your energy, sleep and mood.
Everyone’s talking about magnesium. But potassium?
Crickets
And that’s a big problem
Let’s break it down:
Newly confirmed NIH Director, Stanford Professor @DrJBhattacharya MD PhD, wrote a compelling review of @krisnewby's book Bitten - The Secret History of Lyme Disease and Biological Weapons. It is time to declassify records and focus on helping the millions of impacted patients suffering from chronic, often debilitating illness.
