There are so many forces that want to distract you from your 'why'. I'm not talking about just your @KSDEredesign 'why', but all of the 'whys' for your life. Can't answer 'why'? Then reevaluate whether it needs a priority in your life.
IM K–5 Math is coherent, and designed to provide all students access to rigorous grade-level content. How can it be adapted for a multi-grade classroom? Read this week’s featured blog post for wisdom from pilot teachers & IM Facilitator Jen Hawkins. https://t.co/n5FYnLR3Oy

Without a willingness to invest, remote learning will never be sustainable. Our focus on engagement is more important than ever before. What can be done at the beginning of the week to spark a willingness to invest in your learners? https://t.co/KlF1bv5Dok #remotelearning
Repeat after me… Self-care doesn’t make you selfish. It makes you self-aware, self-balancing, self-discovered, self-healing, self-helping, self-motivated, self-preserving, and self-sustaining!... What do you do for self-care?

Don’t be afraid to admit when things aren’t going well during this time. We had no “best practices” in place for remote learning during a pandemic. We are learning as we go and it’s okay to pivot and try something new if what you are doing isn’t working. #remotelearning

This is not the time to raise expectations. Instead, we need to simplify learning & encourage authentic connections. I finally got some of my thoughts onto a graphic and into a website. I hope it makes sense and helps in some small way. https://t.co/KlF1bv5Dok #remotelearning
#ThoughtForTheDay Students who were struggling in school before are still struggling. Those who were doing well may now be struggling too. Remember that some teachers might be overwhelmed w/the amount of extra support they are needing to provide for all kids. Grace. #Culturize
