Contrarian opinion: you can learn to write a clean first draft (and edit as you go). Read through it once for mistakes, send it off for publication, then move on to your next project.
The trap is endlessly editing or thinking the first draft will necessarily be a mess.
@DM_Blackwall It's not my reinvention. It's an old form called tête-bêche. You never heard of Ace Doubles? It's just a nifty way of presenting short novels. Cheer up!
@RelatablewABS Hey fellow Christian’s,
I wrote an awesome horror book involving themes of forgiveness, justice, and redemption. If you enjoy fiction with Christian themes like Solomon Kane, you’ll love this. Horror as a genre is not anti-Christian.
Note to @mattmercer - in the last paragraph of your article you mention Wichita as the capital of Kansas. Topeka is the capital. FYI.

I've updated my Kickstarter to include excerpts from each of the novellas, if you are curious.
Meantime, I really only need about 5 people to reach the goal.
Only two weeks left!

@DavidJohnButler Finally got home from vacation to look at this on the laptop and watch the video. Congrats! Assuming you've been in touch with @TheKJA about the great success he's had with KS. "Witchy'ing" you the best! ;-)
We're kickstarting the Witchy War, an epic American fantasy, into print. The campaign crossed $41,000 today.
If you haven't yet, take a few minutes to look at the project and consider backing it.

Check out the new anthology I'm in!
It's about Relics and my story is called Bad Town! What can a group of kids do when they are seemingly pulled into a world of dangerous greasers with a vendetta?
Find out today!
The beauty of pledging to a tiny Kickstarter is that you're not just a drop in the ocean. Every pledge, yours included, matters immensely.
Make a difference!

Wilkommen Freunde to Dave's Car ID Service Oktoberfest Beer Truck Special!
Cue the oompah music and roll out the barrel, because we're going to toast some dandy sudsmobiles today. To wet your whistle: Happy Repeal! Not really a beer hauler here, but a 1932-34 Ford B truck modified as a mobile advertisement to announce Prohibition is over and it's time to buy a Blatz Old Heidelberg again. Note the loudspeaker; you can almost hear it pumping out "Happy Days Are Here Again."
