I ran/walked over 30km this weekend, much of that in pouring rain. Quite pleased with that. And survived an 8 year old camping in pouting rain. Very pleased today was brighter.
@normal_danny We very much liked The Netherlands when we went for A LOVELY FAMILY HOLIDAY, and incidentally got Z, last year. Our small person likes telling everyone about it.
@MartinSLewis I have a PAYG mobile with EE which costs me £1 a week. Boosts and calling via computer mean I rarely pay any more, unless using more data on holiday. I always buy the phone separately and outright.
@VictoriaCoren My 7 year old cant' understand why supporting Brazil is controversial with her schoolmates friends But apparently her "old family" is from Brazil and she was born there. Makes the whole thing slightly more interesting
@normal_danny@MarkBrock You're a week too late. All the cool kids were there last week. Also jealous to have missed the pod visiting :) Have you been to Lee on the Solent yet? Lovely parkrun and my SiL did her 150th this week. (Arbitrary!)
@normal_danny Lovely to see a happy cat. Mine is sulking as I took him to the vets yesterday and now he has eye drops. He is not happy about eye drops. I hope you feel better soon.
@stukulele If you have kids you don't get an extra hour in bed, as they still wake up. And if you've just come home from The Netherlands to do Zuiderpark parkrun followed by a weeks holiday and gain 2 hours in 2 nights, it's a really stupid idea. She was up at 5.30am. Still glad we did it.
following recommendations from friends, and two great videos from @maddiemoate and @gregfoot that we watched during lockdown, we took our 7 year old to @Efteling today. Loved it. She wants to go back already.
@RunningisBS It's going to give some hilarious tan lines though. Probably even funnier than these bad boys. Thanks to a sunny day of running #whitestarrunning
