#PSY347#ahamoment While learning about the differences between Teacher-Directed and Learner-Directed instruction, I noticed that nearly all of my learning has been teacher-directed. It's interesting to learn about the benefits of a type of learning I haven't had experience with.
#PSY347#taooftheweek In order to teach different skills and topics, they must be broken into small and more manageable pieces. These pieces must then be sequenced in a logical way to improve learning.

@LianaRosling I do as well! I think that it really gives students time to get to know each other. I'm sure that morning meetings will decrease student relationship issues and bullying.
@BrittanyBrophy1 I agree! I think often classroom control and expectations are overlooked with the purpose of saving time for content for big tests. Some teachers fail to realize that without classroom control, content cannot be taught effectively.

@mmveled I agree! I think that students are much more likely to facilitate their own learning if they are given a say in the classroom. It's also important for teachers to trust their training and knowledge and use tools that they know will work. It's all about balance!
